Will Celune earrings tarnish or turn my ears green?
Green skin usually comes from copper in brass or plated base metals. Celune uses a 316L stainless steel base rather than brass, with a gold PVD layer bonded on in a vacuum chamber. PVD is much harder than ordinary electroplating, so the gold color holds up to daily wear far longer. Like any coated jewelry it can wear over years of friction, which is why we offer 30-day returns.
Are they OK for sensitive ears?
316L stainless steel is a common choice for sensitive ears and our pieces are lead-free, but everyone is different. If you have a known metal allergy, check with your doctor first.
